Brasilia

Brasilia is the capital of Brazil. An extraordinary place to visit at least once in a lifetime is Brasilia. The structure was designed in just 4 years. The official buildings are particularly innovative and imaginative. Brasilia was announced as the capital of Brasil in 1960. A well-planned city that is designed and built. The place has a tropical climate. The first two Brazilian capitals, Salvador and Rio de Janeiro, were built on the coast, since the second half of 18th century. Right from the beginning, the growth of Brasília was superior to the plannings. According to the original plans, Brasília would be a city for government authorities and staff. The place is made out in the shape of an airplane. The perfect city plan and architecture has made it take place in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer has designed most of the major structures in Brasilia. Originally, the city planners visualized extensive public areas along the shores of the artificial lake. But, during early development of the Brasilia, private clubs, hotels and upscale residences and restaurants gained stays around the water. The city has been publicly praised for its use of modernized architecture on a grand scale and for its somewhat utopian city plan. However, it has been roundly criticized for much the same reasons. Brasília’s inhabitants include both foreigners and Brazilians. The city also has an underground transit system. A zoological park and forest reserves have been developed. Boating and fishing are popular activities on Lake Paranoá and the nearby rivers of Brasilia. By the end of the 20th century, the consequences of Brasília’s rapid construction has begin to show in the means of cracks in concrete plazas. People living in Brasilia appreciate Niemeyer’s work but the city can be tough to live in. It’s difficult as a pedestrian as it doesn’t always feel like it’s on a scale designed for humans.
